Infiniti Art Car Raises $55,000 for Charity

While automobiles are not often thought of as works of art, we can make an exception for the Infiniti G37 Art Car.  This famous G37, which was created by Montreal artist Heidi Taillefer in 2009, recently sold to an anonymous bidder at an auction for a reputable $55k. The automobile has been on a number of tours with the Cirque du Soleil show, along with select art and automobile venues.Wherever this vehicle is present, it is sure to get a lot of attention!

All proceeds from the sale will benefit ONE DROP, an initiative to provide safe drinking water to people in need. ONE DROP was created by Guy Laliberte, also founder of Cirque du Soleil, a company that Infiniti proudly sponsors. Wendy Durwar, who is the Director of Infiniti Canada, recently spoke regarding the contribution: "We are proud that the car, this work of art, which is so meaningful to us in marking an important milestone in our history, now has further meaning in that it will help support an incredible cause."1
